Product Enhancements – Release Notes July 2024

Projects By Departments Tree View

• Introducing new “Projects By Departments Tree View” page, providing an organizational chart style summary for projects, including # Status, Health, Schedule, and % Complete.

Projects

List View

• Enhancement: Removed forecast option from column list picker for Project Benefits if forecast is not active.

Task Tab

• Enhancement: Added functionality to multi-select tasks and apply/remove  a tag to all selected tasks at once.

• Enhancement:  Added ability to duplicate tasks.

Project Timeline Views

Group By Goals

• Enhancement: On Project Timeline View clicking on multiple goals now opens a clickable goal popup.

Team Engagement Report

• Enhancement: Team Engagement report now shows drill-down report for projects when clicking on active, completed, idea submitted, or user name.

Metrics

• Enhancement: Added interval notes to all metric charts except the gauge chart.

General Updates/ Bug Fixes

• Enhancement: Message text now wraps multiple lines.

Tasks Tab

• Enhancement: Multi-select tasks and add a tag to apply to all selected tasks.

Tasks Timeline

• Enhancement: Added a new column with a plus button to easily add new groups, tasks, or sub-tasks.

   

Metrics

Tile View(Goal/Metric/Project)

• Enhancement: Clicking the arrow buttons on either side of the tile now changes the tile information.

Saved view & Huddleboards

• UI Enhancement: Enhanced saved views in project, metric, and goal areas: opening a saved view will now replace the default page title with the saved view name.

Settings

Notifications

• Enhancement: Enhanced daily update page to ensure emails are sent only on weekdays, resolving the issue of weekend notifications.

General Updates/ Bug Fixes

• Project list tile on custom huddleboard now displays data in number-type custom field columns.
• Global filters for Goal, Category, and Text are now functional on Metric Tree View page.
• Notifications now correctly direct users to the new project when a task is moved to a different project.

Goals

Grid View 

• Enhancement: Attaching tiles on new goal grid views now updates without a page refresh.

Project Portfolio Timeline

• NEW feature: Added option to “Export as Excel”  in action button on the portfolio timeline page.

Settings

Project Benefits

•  NEW feature:  Added icon to disable/enable project benefits. Disabled benefits and their children cannot be added to new projects.

External Idea

• UI Enhancement: Disabled submit button until the department field is selected on the external idea form.

General Updates/ Bug Fixes

• Enhanced project list and portfolio timeline views to correctly filter by benefit dates, status, and clear more filters.

Goals

• UI Enhancement: Page title on goal pages will display saved view name when opened.

Project Benefit Exception Report

• NEW feature: Added new feature in more filter to set default dates to Year to Date (e.g., if current month is June, show Jan-May).

Project Portfolio Timeline

• NEW feature: Added option to export Gantt to PDF with an action button to show these options.

New Idea

• UI Enhancement: Updated idea submission success popup with new model featuring an ‘Open Idea’ button.

Custom Huddleboards

Text Tile

• Enhancement: Replaced color picker with a new version allowing color changes by typing in the hex code.

Users

• Enhancement: Increased maximum size of user name fields to 50 characters.
• Prevented creation of duplicate departments when department name is multiple times in imported file and does not exist in the company.

General Updates/ Bug Fixes

• Resolved issue with task re-import causing indented tasks to outdent.
• Removed extra filters from clone BSC Huddleboard popup.
